GA Gubernatorial Candidate Vernon Jones has asked county officials and the state legislature to maintain 2020 election records past the legally mandated deadline so the election fraud cabal can't run out the clock.

"Last week, I sent two letters out in an effort to ensure we have the records we need to conduct in that audit. One went to the County Election Registrars in all 159 counties the second went to the members of the Georgia General Assembly.

Georgia Code retention laws require that all election records are retained for a minimum of two years.

Due to an overwhelming amount of concern and questions about the integrity of the 2020 elections, I sent a letter to all 159 County Election Registrars and requested that they retain all voting records and ballots from the 2020 elections and the 2021 runoff until January 31, 2024.

I also sent a letter requesting the members of the Georgia General Assembly to pass legislation amending the current election record retention statute. The amendment would change the minimum retention period from two years to four years from the election date. This request includes making it retroactive to the 2020 elections.

Hopefully, they will agree to consider this request. I believe that there is a need to ensure that all Georgians have confidence in the Free, Fair, and Transparent Election Process."

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
