At this hour, sources report that the State Election Board issued an email late yesterday regarding complaint SEB 2023-025 stating that this case had been REMOVED from the agenda for the upcoming State Election Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday December 19-20.
This case has been widely reported as it calls out discrepancies between statements and data made available by Secretary of State Raffensperger. After reviewing research conducted by Joe Rossi, Gov Kemps office confirmed discrepancies in the data compared to what had been reported by Raffensperger and his staff.
The State Election Board has been expected to review this information and could make the decision to investigate Raffensperger's answers and conduct surrounding the situation.
The State Election Board had previously issued a letter confirming that the case would be reviewed at the upcoming meeting and within the letter characterized the status as "violations found."
Why have they now chosen to avoid reviewing the case? We don't know, but the decision doesn't bode well for public confidence in the SEB and their willingness to fully investigate problems surrounding the elections.
