This week Biden extended another Trump Executive Order, this one identified as EO # 13818 "National Emergency With Respect to Serious Human Rights Abuse and Corruption.

This latest actions joins other extensions executed over the past three years which have maintained a number of Trump Executive Orders in power including # 13848 - "National Emergency With Respect to Foreign Interference In or Undermining Public Confidence in United States Elections"

As the annual dates have approached for the Executive Orders to lapse, each has been extended to keep them in force - Why are thee extensions being done?

Why especially would Biden extend the National Emergency With Respect to Foreign Interference In or Undermining Public Confidence in United States Elections when even Director of National intelligence John Radcliffe reported in 2020 that evidence existed of foreign interference in the 2020 election by China, Iran and Russia?

While we may not yet know why these extensions are being done, astute researchers point out the many capabilities which become available when a National Emergency is in effect.

So is it this or bad? We don't know.
