During the Georgia GOP State Convention John Garst, a former Dominion Lobbyist during the 2020 election, was nominated by the GOP Nominating Committee chaired by Rufus Montgomery.

During the nominating process, Garst was removed and replaced in front of the more than 1,300 delegates in attendance. He was NOT a delegate at the end of the State Convention.

Garst was challenged, removed and replaced during the GOP State Convention held in May 2024.

Hours before the beginning of the Republican National Convention The Georgia Record has received confirmation that John Garst is in Milwaukee and attended the delegates meeting yesterday.

Why is he there when the State Convention didn't want him to represent Georgia at the convention?

What role did Josh McKoon have in his sudden appearance at the RNC?
