The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

Modern roundabouts are the safest form of intersection in the world. Visit http://tinyurl.com/iihsRAB for modern roundabout FAQs and safety facts. Modern roundabouts, and the pedestrian refuge islands approaching them, are two of nine proven safety measures identified by the FHWA, http://tinyurl.com/7qvsaem
The FHWA has a video about modern roundabouts that is mostly accurate (http://tinyurl.com/6v44a3x).

Thanks for the additional info. Johns Creek will be getting more roundabouts in the future.

A whole 2.5 acres for a park? WOW! We need more concrete and less trees and green space. (sarcasm)
Scott, roundabouts might be safer, which of course they would because one must slow to 5mph to get through them safely. However, they snarl up traffic flow, which in our small city is a huge problem. Roundabouts are not going to improve traffic flow.

It seems as if someone needs to instruct drivers how to even use a roundabout. Most of the drivers I have seen just sit there like they have no idea what to do. Just wonderful!
