City Officials will have a Master Traffic Discussion April 27th.

As the Congestion gets worse, the City continues to spend money on Study after Study.

What do you think will alleviate the traffic?

Have the school children take the bus to school. We know that when it's summer or there's a school vacation, there is MUCH LESS TRAFFIC on our roads. It would help everyone get to work more quickly and air quality would be better for all, especially those young lungs!

Widen Abbotts Bridge rd! The city repaved it last year and put up a fancy wooden bridge. They should have added another lane on both sides That's money well spent.

Yes, the fancy bridge was "inexpensive", said Bodker, when I asked why the city thought that was a good idea. Just another example of "what the heck?"

STOP TALKING ABOUT IT and DO SOMETHING Mr Mayor & Council! No study is necessary. Just drive around and you will see where the problems are. ROUNDABOUTS are not the answer. Few know how to safely use them.
Whoever (at city hall) is watching the traffic signals and supposedly changing them to go wit the flow of traffic is obviously asleep at the wheel. (And can't we afford a real traffic light system?) I cannot tell you how many times I sit at a red light through several greens because other inconsiderate drives are so desperate to get to where they need to be they block the intersections. Maybe some police presence would help? Start ticketing the inconsiderate law breaking drivers. Maybe the police could start ticketing tail-gators???? Drivers in JC are so irritated and annoyed they are aggressive to a point of being dangerous. I actually sat in traffic the other morning at 9:45AM (after commute hours) and watched a person get the corner of Medlock and Abbotts that was walking. We both started about one mile away at the same time.
