    election Want to Make a Difference? Johns Creek City Council has had 2 empty seats since November 2014.

    Qualifying for the Election to fill those 2 seats are on Monday, August 31 - Wednesday, Sept 2. 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

    We wrote about how the current council chose not to have the election and go 13 months with the 2 empty seats.

    The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
