Update: After 10 Long Months, multiple errors and delays, the Bridge is Open!
It appears the Parsons Rd Bridge will be opening soon. This picture of the rebar installed was taken Thursday 3:30pm.
On Friday, the cement was poured. Road markings have been painted.
Parsons Run subdivision signage is obstructed from the high rails on the bridge. This may result in more U-turns further up the road.
Here are 4 cylinders of concrete. Each one is filled with concrete from a truck to be checked for how it disintegrates in the stress/slump test. These tests indicate how well the concrete cured and when the road can endure traffic. If additives were added to the concrete to cure faster, the bridge will be open soon. If not, concrete could take 7+ days to cure or harden.
If the bridge is hastily opened too soon, cracks will appear in the concrete from all the heavy trucks. We'll update when the structural engineers give the green light!
About time it is unacceptable to have taken as long as did. Dont hire these people again.
Who was the company that did the work? Was it one of the usual suspects that seem to attempt to do all the work in Johns Creek?
