According to Freedom of Information Acts request, Johns Creek Police bought a Drone, equipped with integrated 4K camera for aerial video & still photos.

This advanced equipment has sonic and optical sensors and can also be flown indoors. It has a range of over a mile.

With this wave of technology comes a bevy of concerns such as future weaponizing, possible software hacking, and imposter drones pretending to be the police.

The short battery life could limit the potential benefits of the drone such as looking for a missing person, or criminal on the run.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

Little Brother is here. Locally. 24/7. Doing the bidding of big brother in exchange for a few federal dollars.

We know our traffic system is plugged into Google. Want to wager that the Feds ALSO have access?

What about those license plate readers? All the cameras at every intersection?

Hand held thermal imaging devices we upgrade every couple of years?

    And now drones....

All of these dollars could have gone for something productive. Or better, left in your own pocket.

    Smile, they ARE watching.
