Stores in nearby Forsyth & Gwinnett Counties are rejoicing in the future business to be expected from Johns Creek residents avoiding the additional sales that was approved Tuesday night.

As expected, higher income areas of Johns Creek & Milton voted AGAINST the TSPLOST, and yet will have to pay for construction in other parts of Fulton County.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

22.6 million hours of labor. That is the equivalent amount of hours worked that that the Fulton County TSPLOST will collect over the next five years from residents. (Divide 589 million by the average hourly wage of $26)

Add those hours together with the 1% LOST already collected, and you are working 52.8 million hours over the next five years as a county to pay both the LOST and the TSPLOST.

So while some may think it's just a cent or so here and there think again.

For those government officials that think this is just found money, please think again. Spend this money carefully, as it represents a tremendous amount of labor from your constituents.

    We will be watching carefully.

I just saw in the Johns Creek Herald (page 6 of Nov 17th edition) that all cities passed TSPLOST. Milton had 50.6% and Johns Creek had 50.005%, while Sandy Springs had 57% approval. Looks like every city approved it in North Fulton.
