Below is from Trey Holladay's Campaign Facebook Page 9/13/17:

It has been a tremendous honor for me to be a candidate for the Johns Creek City Council. I love our city, and I wanted to make a contribution to many of the important issues and challenges we are facing. I have spent a good deal of time going door-to-door, and have had the opportunity to speak to hundreds of our citizens about the issues that matter to them. Speaking and working with those wonderful people has been the highlight of this experience for me.

Having looked more closely at the race, however, I have decided that the time is not right for me to continue as a candidate for the City Council. I have therefore withdrawn my candidacy.

I fully intend to remain actively involved in our city, and to do everything I can to continue to serve our citizens. I am very grateful to the many people, including my campaign team and volunteers, who have supported me during this process.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

    One down two to go

Unlike Zappity Zap Zap, Trey Holladay knows when to fold 'em and walk away.

    Kudos JCPost

Thanks for continuously informing us with what's REALLY happening in JC(unlike the Bodker/Zaprowski propaganda machine, JC Herald). Also, what an absolute joy to watch the dueling drums of Mel Taylor and a very young looking special guest drummer Max Weinberg, during The Ventures' 30th Anniversary concert.

    Paul

A good man has left the race.

    Paul

A good man has left the race. Anyone who thinks this is a good thing for Johns Creek is pitiful.

I come here every once in a while to see what the Nattering Nabobs of Negativism have to say. Sometimes I agree with their perspective. Most of the time it just comes off as mean-spirited and spiteful.

    Paul's Pity Party

Paul, why would you even think that we are glad? No one said they are glad. No one even really knew he was running so, there wasn't an opinion on my part good or bad.

I personally commend anyone for having courage to run.

Look at our own anger and maybe walk outside and smell some roses.

Life is good don't let it rain on you everyday.

Sue It is too bad that you don't like the honesty on here.

But, we people don't like the deceptiveness of the city leaders.
