The Charity Guild of Johns Creek (CGJC) and Mavericks Cantina, the #1 restaurant in Johns Creek for over 3 years, have teamed up to host a unique charity event on Saturday, June 1 to raise funds for the five local charities supported by the Charity Guild of Johns Creek. “Miracle Day at Mavericks” will feature live entertainment, a catered buffet, beverages, dancing and more.
“We wanted to do something a little different for our community,” says Greg Hohman father of the family-owned popular Southern California-style Mexican restaurant in Johns Creek Walk. “Rather than donating a percentage of sales for one day, we felt a family-friendly fun day bringing the charities and community together would be a more meaningful and special day.”
CGJC President Susan Matt agreed. “Our shared goal is to “Raise the Bar” in our community by giving back (with funds and volunteers) and raising awareness in our community (with hands-on service projects and community outreach) coupled with fun for the entire family. During our Miracle Day at Mavericks, charity recipients’ real-life stories will be shared, and those that attend this event will have the opportunity to speak directly with the charities. Our charities all operate in North Fulton providing services and support to those in need. It’s rewarding and fun.”
Ticket prices include a reserved table for your party, a delicious catered buffet meal by Mavericks, non-alcoholic beverages and access to our fun-filled day of entertainment. Once your party is booked, all patrons will need to do is show up and enjoy the event. Additional appetizers and adult beverages are available for purchase.
