VOTE ISSURE YANG! She's the best candidate!!

    Zane Edge

It is interesting to note that for this past election, those candidates who accepted the most special interest money from obvious parties fared the worst as vote getters. Looking at all the public campaign disclosures as of the 2PM deadline on Friday, 11/1/19, Judy LeFave and Kent Altom accepted the most special interest money and they both crashed and burned at the polls. In addition to money from individuals linked to real estate interests, Adam Thomas also accepted money from the Atlanta Athletic Club (Heisman Field is still undeveloped) and he too lost.

Although he got lots of votes, Brian Weaver accepted $2500 from contributors linked to the Providence Group (State Bridge development next to JCHS). Alas, many of his votes result from a $22+K treasure chest plus the help of the Mayor’s Chief of Staff Craig Kidd and $21,736 paid to Landmark Communications. If you’re wondering who this company is, the following description comes straight from their website “Landmark is a team of political operatives, designers, writers and developers who work exclusively on political campaigns”. Robocall polling and promoting are among their specialties along with mailing list targeting based on party affiliation and other criteria.

How to Buy a Seat on Council

Interim City Manager, Ed Densmore, failed in his promise of keeping city employees like Craig Kidd neutral in this election. Craig Kidd actively helped candidate, Brian Weaver. Dilip Tunki will be the next victim of Craig Kidd. Bad city government continues!

    Are You KIDD-ing me?

Craig Kidd was also actively working for Kent Altom and Judy LaFave. He is not going to stop with just Dilip. He is going to work to help MaryBeth Cooper and Erin Elwood. Craig Kidd is Bodker's Chief of Staff but also his henchman. Kidd will do whatever it takes to ensure Bodker gets his candidates in or anyone except for Chris Coughlin and Issure Yang.

Bodker wants people who will vote with him. He doesn't want Coughlin and Yang because they will not be easily swayed and are independent.

    LEN-NY ME A VOTE, PLEASE

I see what you did, "ARE YOU KIDD-ING ME?" Pretty funny. It makes me think about what transpired earlier this election cycle.

One current councilman called me and several others. He wanted me/us to support Altom and LaFave. I am waiting for my call to have my vote for Weaver, Cooper, and Elwood. This councilman has no principles and everyone sees it for what it is.

Kidd already works closely with Cooper. Elwood is pretty far-left progressive. Weaver is willing to take orders from Bodker, is a Democrat working with a high ranking Fulton County Republican Officer. Not because they agree with each other but because he wants to make it on council and just follow orders. More importantly, I am not willing to allow Mayor Bodker free reign with what he is going to do to our city.

I am voting for Tunki, Coughlin, and Yang

    Who Knows

Lenny and his mom have been supporting Tunki from the beginning for some unknown reason.

    Stephanie Endres

"How to buy a seat on council" Interim City Manager, Ed Densmore, has no control over the staff of the Mayor. The executive director to the Mayor is controlled solely by Mike Bodker and no one else.

    Banana Republican

In that case Stephanie, why should the taxpayers pay Bodker's personal hitman's salary. Shouldn't Bodker pay for his manservant out of his own pocket?

    The creative board

Stephane Endres broke the unwritten code of conduct that current council members should not be actively supporting any candidate but has been promoting Chris Coughlin and Issure Yang since the beginning. She has had signs up in her yard!

Also it is believed that the coward who never uses his real name “Zane Edge” is in fact Stephanie Endres husband. So DON’T believe everything you read.

Chris Coughlin needs to be replaced by someone who is going to help this city not hurt it. And furthermore challenge Stephanie who seems to have Coughlin in her back pocket.

Quit listening to the nonsense from the left!!! Vote Right!!!

    Editor

Can you point us to this unwritten code? Does it apply to all of City Council? For we have been told there is another Council Member promoting candidates running against Coughlin and Issure as he is fearful of losing is majority voting block.

And Zane Edge is a real person and NOT Mark Endres. Also, Mark Endres has the right to post whatever election signs he deems appropriate in his yard, regardless of whom he might be married to. If you are suggesting spouses give up their freedom of speech, you are wrong.

    An Informed and Engaged Voter

I have friends that support Elwood and Yang and know them well.

You are assuming that Elwood is a conservative and Yang is a liberal. WRONG and WRONG!

I think you need to check your logic. Better yet, talk to each candidate and ask them where they stand.

You know why Elwood garnered so many votes without having ever attended a single City Council meeting or having paid attention to local issues before she decided to run? Try her liberal friends who are mobilized and are only voting for her because she is a die-hard liberal.

Do you not realize that Elwood is part of the Liberal Left who wants MARTA, high-density housing, is perfectly fine with abortion clinics and sanctuary city status?

Yang talks about fiscal responsibility, transparency and small government.

Elwood talks about green space, sidewalks and the city center, but doesn't really let on about her real motivations for running.

    Elwood is the EXTREME LIBERAL!

I decided to look at the websites of each of the candidates in the run-off. Here are the websites of each.  I am including some observation below.

Tunki, Coughlin, and Yang have the most information on their website and are very transparent with their platforms and positions on the issues. As far as substantive info, they are honest with their platforms.

Cooper comes out swinging. Not surprised. Her approach is more about being negative toward her opponent than putting forth any ideas. She was negative and lecturing in the debates I have seen as well. If anyone is paying attention, Cooper is working with Craig Kidd. That should tell you something.

Weaver and Elwood have the least amount of information and don't really talk about issues or what they can do for Johns Creek. Weaver wants to save us from gangs and drugs. Elwood wants the city center built now and then what?

During the campaign, Weaver and Elwood took part in an event to turn the city blue:

    http://www.khabar.com/events-calendar/South-Asian-American-Democrats-meet

With a simple google search, I was able to see that they are part of the "Flip the City Blue" coalition of North Fulton Dems. What is that supposed to mean? I am disappointed. I want my local  representatives to represent me not “Flip the City Blue” for their political party.  It appears that both Elwood and Weaver would represent their party first not the residents.

The other thing I see is that WSB and AJC reported on Elwood at one of the local protests last year during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing:

    https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/protesters-turn-out-in-atlanta-against-kavanaugh-s-supreme-court-confirmation/847889013

She claims his testimony wasn't credible. For many, Chrissy Blasey-Ford's testimony wasn't credible and the proceedings were a re-play of familar hit jobs we have seen in the past. I do not want to rehash the Kavanaugh hearing, but I do find it telling that her reaction was more about feelings and not the facts. The article gives us insight that Elwood is a partisan who is more about a strict political idealogy than she is about representing all of the people in Johns Creek.

In my opinion, both Weaver and Elwood are avoiding posting too much substantive information on their websites because they don't want the voters to know that they are far left progressives who want to Flip the City Blue.

I also see that Craig Kidd supplied a picture of his kid next to a Weaver sign on his own yard for Weaver to post on Weaver’s Facebook page: I forget: Is Kidd a Republican, a Democrat or just an opportunist?

We all know Bodker wants people to vote like him. Lin and Broadbent aren’t going to be on council so he is looking for anyone that will vote like him. At this point, he doesn’t care who, as long as they aren’t: Coughlin and Yang.

    Great message. Thank you

    Suzi and Dennis

Oh c'mon.....Bodker and co. has been promoting THEIR candidates for years and years.
Stephanie won her council seat with the most votes last election. All the Johns Creek people that voted for her can't be wrong. Stephanie is truly an advocate for the residents and we really like and respect her.
