Why doesn’t Johns Creek have a tornado warning siren system? We have those ugly billboards which are like highways during the fifties. If the Mayor and Councilmembers would notice about the last 10 years billboards are going the way of the dodo bird. They are ugly and spoil the natural beauty. I never recall having a vote to have those monstrous billboards put up. I think I remember some Councilmember had a friend or something and probably got a nice kickback.

Why doesn’t the Mayor and Council get tornado sirens in more than one location since Johns Creek is so large? To me, safety comes before advertising. I think the residents of Johns Creek would be pleased to have a warning system. This is very concerning to me and with the storm, we had Monday night it would have been a good thing to have.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
