Last July, The Georgia Record was approached by True The Vote with evidence of a massive ballot harvesting scheme involving hundreds of people, filmed by surveillance cameras and geolocated by cell phone tracking.

We were asked to hold the story by the source as they wanted to develop it further, and we honored that request.

The point is, the story has been in the works for months, so we can validate its authenticity.

It seems the source ultimately decided to turn the information over to authorities, no matter how questionable Georgia state law enforcement and election integrity might be.

Georgia authorities have launched an investigation into an allegation of systematic ballot harvesting during the state's 2020 general election and subsequent U.S. Senate runoff and may soon issue subpoenas to secure evidence, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, wrote Just The News.

According to interviews and documents reviewed by Just the News, Raffensperger's office received a detailed complaint from conservative voter integrity group True the Vote on Nov. 30 saying it had assembled evidence that scores of activists worked with nonprofit groups to collect and deliver thousands of absentee ballots, often during wee-hour operations, to temporary voting drop boxes distributed around the state during the pandemic.

The group informed the secretary its evidence included video footage from surveillance cameras placed by counties outside the drop boxes as well as geolocation data for the cell phones of more than 200 activists seen on the tapes purportedly showing the dates and times of ballot drop-offs, according to documents reviewed by Just the News.

We find it interesting that GA SoS Raffensperger would take up this case now, after denying election fraud for a year. Perhaps he is feeling the heat of his primary opponents in the upcoming election.

We hope Raffensperger tells the facts to the American people and doesn't try to sweep this one under the rug.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

Perhaps the punishments for election fraud and failure to prosecute these crimes should include loss of citizenship and deportation or execution? The current sanctions are obviously insufficient.
