On Thursday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) declared a temporary state of emergency and deployed 1,000 Georgia National Guard troops in response to recent violent ANTIFA and anti-police riots in Atlanta. Kemp's state of emergency was issued to assist with restoring order in the city after ANTIFA members called for a "night of rage" to be held Friday in response to the death of another ANTIFA member, which was caused by Georgia State Patrol troopers shooting the suspect after he opened fire on them last week at the future site of a police training facility in a wooded area of metro Atlanta.
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens (D) said that police arrested 6 protestors on Saturday after the protests they were participating in devolved into a violent riot that resulted in windows of local businesses being smashed in and a police cruiser being lit on fire. Dickens said that some of the individuals arrested were found to have explosives on them that "led to a police officer's car being set on fire."
Dickens said of the rioters who were arrested, "Make no mistake about it, these individuals meant harm to people and to property."
Most of the rioters were from out of state. In his emergency order, Kemp wrote, "Georgians respect peaceful protesters but do not tolerate acts of violence against persons or properties."
In his state of emergency, which is set to expire on February 9, Kemp cited "unlawful assemblage, violence, overt threats of violence, disruption of the peace and tranquility of this state and danger existing to persons and property" as reasons for enacting the order.
In a statement on January 3, Kemp said, "These individuals are members of a broader network of militant activists who have committed similar acts of domestic terrorism and intimidation across the country with no regard for the people or communities impacted by their crimes."
As Atlanta struggles to piece itself back together following the riots, additional groups protesting the building of the police facility and the death of the ANTIFA member have begun to appear in other states, including Massachusetts and Oregon. Hopefully, additional states of emergency will not have to be issued in those states due to further "peaceful protests."

Have to wonder why there aren't riots in Florida......oh.... that's right....not only is DeSantis the legitimate governor of Florida, but he is also an outspoken critic of rioting and pushed anti-rioting legislation. On the other hand, Kemp is illegitimate by the fact that he is afraid to investigate election fraud. The people know that Kemp's fraud machine > Abrams fraud machine. If Kemp were legitimate, he would do as DeSantis has done, but he's not because he doesn't serve the people. Georgia deserves better. Abrams and Kemp are both agents of foreign governments that will only protect the business interests they serve. Kemp forgets about the people, because he doesn't serve them. Your time is coming Mr. Kemp, the truth has a way of catching up to you. The people saw you in Davos, the people saw what you did with the 2020 election. The people know who you serve and the will get justice, even if it takes a long period of time.
Would anyone really be upset if Atlanta was reduced to a pile of smoldering cinders?
Kemp was just at Davos', took his marching orders from the WEF, makes me think this is all planned.
