January 13, 2023 – Members of the Republican Party in Counties across Georgia are planning the steps which ultimately lead up to The GOP State Convention to be held in June 2023.
In the coming weeks, several gatherings will be held in each County to effectively “build” leadership teams at the Precinct, County, District and State levels. This process also ensures that members and delegates are trained, ready, willing and informed to serve the conservative interests of the People of Georgia.
The Forsyth County Republican Party has already begun informing County residents of the process and is inviting them to participate in upcoming Precinct Caucuses to be held February 11, 2023. Non-members and members alike are welcome to participate in the process. Many of those new to the party find kindred spirits and new friends. The majority ultimately join the groups as members to help promote the conservative values of the organization.
A key step will be the selection of delegates from each Precinct in Georgia. The process requires only a quick registration and there is no cost to participate in the initial Precinct Caucuses. (County and District Conventions usually have a small fee.)
The Forsyth County GOP issued the following flyer covering the actions between now and June of this year.
Counties all over Georgia are pursuing the same steps. Interested citizens in any County should reach out to their local GOP Office to learn more.
