In the coming days counties across Georgia will begin a series of meetings to select and charter leadership for the GOP at local district and state levels. Residents are lining up to become delegates to these meetings and conventions so that their concerns and issues can be part of the planning for party priorities.

The Precinct Caucuses are planned for February 11th and residents can register without cost to be a delegate at these and subsequent Convention meetings. These conventions are designed to build the leadership of the GOP party from the precinct, to the county, to the district, and finally the state level over the coming months, culminating in a state convention to be held in June.

Those interested in participating should contact their local GOP office within the next week in order to participate in the first Precinct Caucuses.

An example of the process to be followed was issued by Forsyth County last week and is included below.
