As the state convention approaches in a period of days, the Georgia GOP party apparatus appears to be restricting communication between its leadership team in order to allow the Establishment to maintain power.

Karen I appreciate your prompt though perplexing response.

Aside from the list seemingly being public record per GA Code 21-2-110, Article 3: Registration of & Committee Organization of Political Parties & Bodies, how do you suggest we govern as a State Committee when we are unable to communicate amongst ourselves? Are we not to communicate about the state convention days away? How does the GAGOP most effectively rally and organize over the next 16 months to win the ‘24 Presidential Election when our GA GOP State Committee members can not communicate amongst themselves? How do we function without communicating?

As a state committee under GA Election Code, I suspect any alleged vote regarding denying members our contact list is against election code is it not?

    Regards,

    Susan,

At this time we are not sharing the State Committee List. It was elected at an earlier meeting that the list would not be shared due to others sharing it with those that should not have it. If new business allows, someone can make a motion to change this at a future meeting.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
