True The Vote posted today that a ballot measure to get rid of ranked choice voting and open primaries is reportedly failing by just 664 votes after 6,074 “additional ballots” were counted on Wednesday.
In early 2023, The Georgia Record first reported on Alaska's move to use ranked choice voting and the big out-of-state money behind the measure.
With public scrutiny and plenty of coverage, Geoegia's legislature wisely steered clear of Ranked Choice. There was another attempt by former Rep Scott Turner to assert Ranked Choice under the name "Instant Runoff." This attempt met a brick wall of public opinion with quoted proponents trying to distance themselves within hours of the initiative becoming public.
A key proponent or the original Alaska measure was Kathryn Murdock, wife of James Murdock (son of media tycoon Rupert Murdock.)

Will the globalists again try to convince Georgian's that ranked choice (even under another name) would be good for Georgia? We hope they do, and that smart Georgians once again send the carpetbaggers packing.
What is wrong with ranked choice voting? You say Georgia "wisely steered clear" but offer no reasons why it is bad. Wouldn't it lead to more centrist candidates no matter which party eventually won?
Look it up.
What's so great about centrism? We need commitment to what is most right for the country at any given point in time. If "steady as she goes," don't rock the boat policies are what are needed some kind of centrism might make sense, But it does not always make sense. Sometimes a policy is clearly right and another policy is clearly wrong and there is no middle ground. People should be able to make a clear, unambiguous choice for the one they think is best. They might not have a second choice.
Short answer: ranked choice voting increases confusion in elections; people don't understand the strategy and it is common for the candidate who 15% of the people liked to win over the candidate who 49% of the people liked.
Also, it makes auditing an election far harder (I can't remember whether it's actually impossible, but it's definitely a whole lot harder to go back and look at what got done at which round.)
Why are Alaskans standing for this? All they need to do is stand up and say, "An election with such obvious questions about it can't be certified. Now let's see all the ballots and ask real questions about how they got there."
