    Congrats to these Johns Creek Residents Elected to GA State Capital!

    Brad Raffensperger as Secretary of State.
    Angelika Kausche as State Representative.

    Brad Raffensperger is a former Johns Creek City Councilman. He resigned mid-term and ran for State Rep. After serving in the gold dome, he aimed for a higher-level of government.  This Secretary of State position is his 3rd political office seat.

    Lastly, Angelika Kausche became involved as an advocate for the Shakerag area of Johns Creek. The proposed zealous development plans for Cauley Creek Park sparked her civic activities. Angelika Kausche replaces Brad Raffensperger's State Rep seat. She is also heavily involved in the growing local Democrat party.

    The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
