On January 6, 2021, alarms were raised, and the congressional chambers cleared, as the media reported "attacks" on the Capitol.
Several States had raised objections to simply accepting slates of electors assigned to Biden. Instead these States wanted Congress to pause and investigate the election given the hundreds or thousands of reports of potentially erroneous or even fraudulent ballots and processes.
After evacuating chambers, it took some time before House members and Senators returned to continue their discussions on the objections.
When Loeffler returned, she presented a carefully crafted statement essentially 180 degrees from the position she admitted just hours earlier. She did this without taking time to learn full facts, and without considering alternative causes. Indeed, with little to no real information about what had happened, she did an about-face and said she could no longer ".....object to the certification of these electors..."
Given the J6 information especially videos now released showing that Capitol police and others (who may have been FBI agents or other officials) took aggressive actions which inflamed (and may have caused) the conflicts seen on that day, one would think that Loeffler would have good reason for contrition over her snap judgement to change her entire position, a choice which contributed to an election which now appears to be more in question, by more Americans, with each passing day.
One would think she would come forward with a statement of apology for this decision, to the people of Georgia, as her actions now look horribly flawed. However she has made no statement about being sorry for her actions, about her lack of judgement, lack of patience, and some would say, lack of character.
Does she not recognize her mistake? If not what does that say about her prospects to lead in any capacity going forward?
Many say she appears to be positioning for a run at Governor of Georgia. Is that the kind of leadership Georgia wants? Georgians are smart people, they recognize that people can make mistakes but when those same people sweep such a meaningful error under the rug and hope people will forget, perhaps it tells the public more about the person than about the actual mistake.

And so, we see that she was part of this. A carefully crafted statement takes time to craft. It was obviously prepared before the trap was sprung.
