Congressman Rich McCormick and GA Rep David Clark have both announced that they'll be going to Iowa to stump for Ron DeSantis.
This leaves many asking....WHY?
The Daily Mail reported that:
Clearly they cannot be expecting to revive his campaign. Are they simply trying to do anything possible to work against Trump? Given 91 bogus charges across 4 indictments each of which has contributed to a gain in Trump's numbers, working against him would likely result in more support for Trump.
The latest RealClearPolitics analysis shows Trump with a commanding 61.1% nationally with Haley a far distant 11.3% with DeSantis at 10.9%.
A more telling question perhaps is "Aren't representatives supposed to "represent" those who elected them? Is that what McCormick and Clark are doing?
The Georgia Record and The Georgia 2024 Show have repeatedly invited McCormick to discuss his views on the campaign but have not received return calls or emails.
McCormick appears to be making whistle stops around the new 7th district of Georgia in preparation for an attempt to retain his U.S. Congressional seat in a largely new district area.
As voters meet him we encourage them to as why he is going to Iowa to support DeSantis and does he believe that best represents the wishes and views of his constituents (old and or new.)

Every voter should check every potential vote against this. It shows how their votes in Congress stand according to our body of Constitutional Law.
Haven't looked up these two yet, but it might be interesting...
