The Georgia Record has reported previous claims of questionable practices by certain senior Trump campaign members.
Comes now a report from Daily Beast about a whistleblower challenging choices being made about how and through whom certain advertising investments are being made. Specifically the whistleblower reports claim that millions in ad placement choices are, in part, "grifting" and yielding monetary benefits for senior campaign officials Chris LaCivita and Suzie Wiles.
This follows previous reports that LaCivita may have received up to $22 million from campaign coffers already.
While campaign managers are known for receiving significant compensation for their efforts, the current whistleblower also states that ad funding is being directed to outside ad agencies which are in effect overcharged for the advertising placements. The Trump campaign has an internal agency available (Launchpad Strategies) which would charge less for the same ad placements.
Daily Beast reports that one of these outside ad firms, Zeta Global, “chosen by Chris/Susie,” charged $20 million for placing media ads—$6 million more than the $13.9 million that Launchpad would have charged for the same ads.
A number of those tracking campaign specifics have asked why Chris LaCivita and Suzie Wiles are still with the campaign given concerns which in some cases extend back to 2021. LaCivita is known for certain social media posts in 2021 which appear to associate Trump's statements to violence which occurred on January 6th.
In past years months and years evidence has emerged showing what Trump actually said and disproving claims that he incented any aggressive action on J6.
Actually he called for Patriots to go to the Capitol "...peacefully and patriotically...." and let their voices be heard.
Will LaCivita and Wiles continue with the campaign? Will these latest claims be the final straw in the debate about their intentions and performance? We expect to see more in coming days.
Is the Georgia Record working with Democrats? Seems like it.
The Georgia Record works for truth...period.
