In the latest bizarre move regarding Fulton County elections, their Board of Registration and Elections, denied the use of any electronic means of review or analysis during their certification process Tuesday.
A Judge last month ruled that Boards of Elections must certify their elections eliminating any decision-making role even if the Board members identify reasons for further concern or review prior to actual certification.
Some say that in that strange ruling, the Judge redefined the role and responsibility of Boards of Election while taking away a level of Election protection from the people of Georgia.
That decision follows several strange moves by other officials including a decision by Charlene McGowan, counsel for the Secretary of State's office, who withheld ballot evidence requested by the State Board of Elections. In an email McGowan indicated to the State BOE that the requested ballot images could be provided if the BOE agreed that the case was deemed resolved and closed.
This latest Fulton "pen and paper" decision was highlighted by well known Georgia election integrity advocate Jason Frazier who also noted strange mismatches in data that were not investigated.
The answer is likely that will only happen if citizens keep working to cause the Sec of State, his office, along with all Election offices, officials and workers to be aware that Georgians see the problems and will work until they are resolved.
