• Rick Mohrig and Helen Gordon Attend Candidate Forum To Share Views On The Future of Milton

    Local residents hosted a forum for City Council Candidates to share their thoughts and plans for Milton Wednesday evening.

    Rick Mohrig, a current City Council member since 2013, and Helen Gordon, a three-year resident of Milton who relocated from Los Angeles, attended the event to speak and answer questions submitted by residents.

    Two other candidates, Carol Cookerly and Phil Cranmer chose not to attend the forum.

    The event featured a planned format to enable equal time for each candidate and the ability to address a number of questions coming from residents who would be affected by the outcome of the next City Council election.

    Each question was posed to both candidates so viewers could weight the answers given by each.

    Unlike the antics seen during last night's "Presidential" debate, candidates were allowed to answer questions but not allowed to attack each others position.
