Milton citizens say they are taking steps to provide correct information after seeing false information promoted and distributed by campaign committees and certain candidates.

Sources provided two videos to The Georgia Record, videos they explain were produced to call residents attention to facts surrounding the "Milton Families First" committee and candidates that committee appears to be supporting.

A second video calls out information surrounding one of candidates - Phil Cranmer - and research showing that while he cites election transparency, he has never voted in a race for a municipal office in Milton.

Citizens characterize information coming from "Milton Families First" as false information meant to steer public opinion using smear tactics against candidates like Rick Mohrig, who they say, has readily observable voting records and years of decisions made to protect the City of Milton.
