On Wednesday evening, Georgia State Republican Party Chairman Josh McKoon spoke before the Gwinnett Republican Party during their monthly meeting.
He explained some of the situation surrounding the Fani Willis indictments along with some historical events like the Hayes/Tilden election in 1876 which, like 2020 resulted in a contested election. In that case when the process landed in Congress, the US legislature took a ten day "pause." That election was eventually settled with what is no called the "Compromise of 1877."
McKoon also answered questions posed by the audience after the questions were reviewed and selected by the GOP Chair.
