I struck up a casual conversation with Bubba Haupt on my first trip to Carey Hilliards in Savannah in 42 years. I was on a business trip to my hometown and the restaurant looked exactly the same, bringing back memories of high school football and chasing girls.
Over a BLT and pecan pie, I soon realized Bubba and I had a lot in common - a love of aviation, Savannah football, and we were both authors!
