Following significant pushback from constituents across Georgia,  District 10 House Representative Victor Anderson has acknowledged that he will be withdrawing his sponsorship of HB 200 - the “Ranked Choice Voting” bill introduced last week.

We acknowledge this decision by Representative Anderson and encourage the remaining co-sponsors (and all members of the General Assembly) to learn more about the concerns regarding Ranked Choice voting in those areas which have tried it to date.

As Georgians and Americans are simultaneously learning, funding sources often uncover who really wants certain measures.  Experts in election law and operations have previously documented money flowing from characters such as George Soros, Jonathan Soros and most recently Sam Bankman-Fried (of FTX “fame”) all of whom have backed a push for Ranked Choice in areas around the Country.

We will continue to track HB 200 and similar proposed bills to ensure the public is aware and able to engage proactively with their representatives to communicate their concerns.
