Yesterday the Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony on Senate Bill 359. A bill which if enacted would expand scope and penalties for so-called "hate crimes."
The Bill could include provisions triggering RICO charges in certain cases. Citizens find this particularly troubling given what many say is a gross misuse of RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charges against the 19 defendants charged by Fani Willis, including President Trump.
Courts have often struggled with "hate crime" cases as many say "one man cannot know the mind of another man." Hate crime statutes have also been challenged as a violation of free speech in the U.S.
John Albers downplayed the possibly of infringing on Free Speech but observers labelled this as a hollow promise since authorities would never know the actual intent of citizens they would be forced to draw inference which could in many cases be flawed.
.
The Senate can expect to hear negative feedback on the Bill from those who do not wish to have the government or authorities attempt to discern their thoughts and feelings using broad attempted definitions of such things as "hate."

Tommy Robinson and, more recently, Russell Brand, are the victims of this tactic of the capitalist class. We've seen this deployed also in Australia and Canada, as Public (Substack) has reported.
For 40 years UK police have covered up and participated in the drugging, gang-raping and prostitution of white children; but if your speech offends someone, he calls the police and they treat you like a criminal. And they still refuse to investigate corruption, terrorist threats or child sexual abuse.
