Last week Senator Colton Moore, acting on a whistleblower tip, discovered illegal migrants being trafficked through Hartsfield Airport using a hidden room on a floor above the domestic terminal.
Since that time most other legislators and notably, Governor Brian Kemp have been silent on the issue at Hartsfield, are they hoping you didn't notice?
Citizens all over Georgia have been digging into the background, connections, funding sources for the entity one of the people in the hidden room identified: "Team Libertad" They are also investigating other NGOs with share associations with Team Libertad and it's supporters.
Most concerning however is the lack of response or acknowledgement of what has been found. On one hand Kemp and others seem able to point out the action Texas is taking and in fact take some credit for supporting Texas' efforts. All while turning a blind eye to the problem here in Georgia. This leaves many asking why?
