• The Battle Of The Ages: Defeating The Enemy And Preparing For Christ’s Return

    In every great story, there is a villain. Ours is no different. Scripture tells us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour (1 Peter 5:8). He is the father of lies (John 8:44), the deceiver of nations, and the force behind division, hatred, and despair. His goal is to sow chaos, to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

    But he is not invincible. His defeat is assured, not by human hands but by the return of Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.


    The Nature of the Enemy

    The enemy works in subtle ways, disguising himself as light while bringing darkness. He divides nations, manipulates governments, and corrupts hearts. His tools are fear, deception, and distraction, turning people against one another and away from God.

    Yet, the Bible is clear: he is a defeated foe. At the cross, Jesus triumphed over him, disarming principalities and powers (Colossians 2:15). The final blow will come when Christ returns in glory, casting the enemy into the lake of fire forever (Revelation 20:10).


    Defeating the Enemy in Our Lives

    While we wait for that day, we are not powerless. Scripture equips us with weapons for this spiritual battle:

    • Resist and Stand Firm:
      “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
      “Resist him, steadfast in the faith” (1 Peter 5:9). The enemy may roar, but he cannot harm those who stand firm in Christ.
    • Guard Your Thoughts:
      “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8). By focusing on what is good and godly, we protect our minds from his lies.
    • Cast Down Falsehoods:
      “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). Reject the lies that set themselves up against God’s truth.

    The Power of Vision: Seeing the Dream

    Imagine the world restored, free from the enemy’s grip. See communities thriving, families flourishing, and God’s love reigning supreme.

    Matthew 18:19 tells us: “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

    If we can all see this dream together, we can begin to build it—brick by brick, act by act, prayer by prayer.


    Thy Kingdom Come: A Fairytale of Freedom

    Once upon a time, the world groaned under the weight of unseen powers. Banks controlled wealth, governments passed laws that benefited the few, and global organizations dictated policies without the consent of the people. Big tech silenced dissenting voices, spreading propaganda to divide families and nations. Farmers struggled under regulations, doctors were bound by corporate interests, and churches stood on the sidelines as culture crumbled.

    But imagine, if you can, a world where those chains were broken.

    Imagine This:

    The airwaves are free again. Big tech no longer censors the truth, and propaganda vanishes like a morning mist. People speak openly, sharing ideas without fear. Social media connects rather than controls, and news becomes a way to inform and inspire.

    Farmers return to their fields with joy. Free from burdensome regulations, they cultivate the land with wisdom passed down through generations. Local markets overflow with fresh produce, handmade goods, and the abundance of God’s creation. Communities trade freely, their tables laden with blessings.

    Doctors are healers once again. Healthcare is no longer driven by profits but by compassion and purpose. Local clinics thrive, offering personalized care and embracing the power of natural remedies. People are healthier, both physically and spiritually, as preventive care takes center stage.

    Babies are celebrated! Every birth is a moment of joy, a miracle treasured by families and communities. There is no debate over the worth of a child—each is seen as a precious gift from God, a reminder of His love and faithfulness.

    Law and order are restored. Crime is rare, not because of fear, but because communities care for one another. Leaders are servant-leaders, chosen for their humility and integrity.

    Children play freely in laughter-filled neighborhoods. Imagine a world where no one is homeless or hungry because churches and communities have stepped in to provide, just as Jesus commanded.

    Energy is no longer a tool of control. Free, abundant, clean energy powers homes, cities, and industries. Solar, hydrogen, and other innovations flourish without interference, bringing light to every corner of the earth. The scars of reckless greed heal as the world is renewed.

    Trade blossoms. Nations work together with fairness and trust. Goods move freely across borders, built on relationships of respect rather than exploitation. Small businesses flourish, and wealth is shared, lifting all people together.

    Division is replaced by unity. Without the lies of the enemy, people see one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Cultural differences are celebrated as part of God’s design, and love binds humanity together.

    At the heart of it all is the church. Voices lift in worship to Jesus, who is honored as King. Pastors shepherd their flocks, offering wisdom and truth. The homeless find refuge, the sick find healing, and the broken find restoration in the arms of God’s people.


    Preparing for Christ’s Return

    Now, close your eyes and imagine a world where Jesus reigns, and His words come to pass:

    “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

    In this world, love triumphs over hate, light dispels darkness, and truth sets all people free. Families flourish, communities thrive, and nations stand tall in their faith and independence.

    The devil’s schemes are defeated, and the people live in the joy and freedom of God’s truth.

    And so, they lived happily ever after…
