    On the same day that Brian Kemp was at the Perry Fish Fry, inadvertently admitting that voting machines can be hacked, the Republican National Committee (RNC) was approving a resolution that supports many of the feeling and concerns demonstrated by Georgia voters, and which Kemp apparently wants to squash.

    Entitled "A Return To Excellence" the Resolution includes a number of statements which fall in line with many across the Nation who have deep concerns about how our elections have and are being conducted and who question our ability to count on accurate results.

    Acknowledgement of grassroots concerns and evidence of voting problems:

    WHEREAS, The grassroots activists of the Republican Party have discovered and made it abundantly clear that there are recognized problems with electronic election procedures and intentional complications of instituted systems that complicate, belabor, and slow down our election processes;

    We should use hand-marked paper ballots:

    WHEREAS, Election experts agree that the most resilient voting systems use paper ballots, either marked by hand or with an assistive device, and are verified by the voter before any means of tabulation; and

    Legislators Take Notice: No voting schemes like "Ranked Choice" voting

    WHEREAS, The Republican National Committee has unanimously opposed complicated election schemes like Ranked Choice Voting that is a clear example of the chaos being pushed on our states and territories; therefore, be it

    The entire Resolution can be viewed and downloaded below.

    Kemp seems completely out of step with the voters in Georgia who agree with the resolution above. At the Perry Fish Fry this past weekend, attendees reported that VOTERGA and those wearing "Paper Ballot Please" t-shorts were told they could not come in. These restrictions were dropped after Kemp left the building.

    One wonders why Chandler "Chan" Jones and the 8th District Executive Committee would subject themselves to such criticism only to keep election integrity supporters and garb away from the "governor."
