In May, Rich McCormick surprised many by strongly endorsing DeSantis as Republican Nominee for President.
At the time this was a shock to some, considering the boost his campaign got when Trump gave McCormick his endorsement in October 2022.
In the past months DeSantis' campaign has faced increasing downward pressure, despite the insertion of people like Cody Hall from Kemp's office who is being "shared" to aid DeSantis' campaign.
DeSantis, who earned the title "EGG MAN" for his work at the Iowa State Fair spearing eggs while Trump spoke before cheering crowds, is now facing people who openly dislike and are booing him even at his own rallies. In the example below he if forced to stop speaking as people boo him:
At the same time, Real Clear Politics shows DeSantis support falling to now trail Trump by more than 40 points.
So why is Rich McCormick still backing DeSantis? We don't know. Perhaps he likes supporting the EGG MAN. Maybe he hasn't paid attention to the candidate the people want and support. Maybe he forgot Trump supported him.

I’m afraid Rich is just another bought & paid for rubber stamper for the entrenched deep state Republicans. Just ask him how he can justify the killing of 1/2 a million & the maiming of close to the same amount in Ukraine. His answer, Russians are bad, we are good. Utter nonsense that unfortunately too many Republicans buy into. It’s not our sons, fathers, grandfathers dying so who cares right? They’re cannon fodder for us. Shameful at best but evil at worst. $200 billion & counting.
