After months of inaction, legislators are finally taking some steps to investigate and potentially impeach Fani Willis in her role as District Attorney.

The Senate today passed a measure to empower an investigative committee with the ability to issue subpoenas, with instructions to investigate Fani Willis.

Meanwhile, in the Georgia House, Rep. Charlice Byrd put forth a Resolution, noting that the House has the right to impeach when ."..Executive or Judicial officials violate their oaths of office or commit other offenses.."

The resolution lists 22 alleged charges which could be imposed against Willis. See the entire Resolution below:

Are legislators finally acknowledging the will of the people? Many hope so and many more are remaining vigilant in the hopes of continued pressure and follow up on the indictments of 19 innocent alternate electors dragged into this morass by an overzealous District Attorney.

But... but... but.... RACISM!!

The committee will have 6 Republicans and 3 Democrats. In GA, that's pretty much saying it will be composed of 9 Democrats.

Georgia was originally a penal colony. Surprise, their legal system is rife with graft and corruption. Legislators didn't notice until the shrill public outcry began to shatter the glassware...

Thank you Rep. Byrd.
Finally someone with integrity and character steps up to the plate.
